- The Clerk and Comptroller, Sharon R. Bock, is a constitutional officer elected to a four-year term by the voters of Palm Beach County. Ms. Bock is serving her First term as Clerk and Comptroller.
What are the constitutional and statutory responsibilities of the Clerk and Comptroller? The Clerk and Comptroller is ministerial officer for the Circuit and County Courts and performs Constitutional and Statutory duties for the trial Courts as record keeper for all court records and pleadings that are filed. The Clerk and Comptroller serves as the Recorder of Deeds, Clerk and Accountant for the Board of County Commissioners, Custodian of County Funds, and County Auditor. The Clerk and Comptroller has also assumed several other responsibilities by inter local agreement: Printing Services, Mail and Courier Services and Microfilm Services.
